Hello loyal blog readers. I wanted to take a few minutes to pen a quick blog! The summer has started and the Ryan Martin Foundation is quite busy.

Over the last week, I spent the evening at the 39th Annual New England Emmy's, then went back to Connecticut for the grand opening of Kevin's Kourt, a project with Kevin Ollie, and finally ended at the first camp of the RMF season in Minnesota.

The Boston/New England Emmy Awards was a unique experience. I was invited there as the documentary I shot with John Holt and Eric Budney was nominated for Best Sports Feature Segment! Despite coming up short and not taking home the trophy, the experience was special and I must thank John and Eric for all the work they put in on the project! If you've missed the documentary check it out below!

The Kevin's Kourt program is a collaborative effort between Kevin Ollie and several other organizations, including the Ryan Martin Foundation. The purpose of the program is to provide inclusive basketball opportunities for everyone, regardless of ability. The first court opened in Hartford, CT, at a local Boys and Girl Club. The court is an example of how sports can unite people. The court features 10 individual baskets at various heights and the concept promotes fun and competitive play for everyone! I'm very excited to be involved with the project and look forward to future courts going up soon! Click here to learn more.

Finally, I just got home from RMF's first camp of 2016 in Minnesota at my alma-mater, Southwest Minnesota State University! I had the pleasure of working with many of the athletes from SMSU's increasingly powerful men's team, as well as some promising juniors! It's always, it's a pleasure to go back to campus and help out the next generation of wheelchair basketball players!

That's all I've got for now as I prepare to go to the United Nations in NYC, and the RMF Hall of Fame Game, which will be streamed live on the Ryan Martin Foundation's Facebook page!

Thanks for the continued support and feedback on these blogs! I will continue to update my loyal Numotion readers as the summer unfolds.

Regards!
