Alexis began her journey with Numotion in 2015 as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) after a successful career as an Occupational Therapist in the community. Her first exposure to Numotion was through wheelchair evaluations, working closely with her mentor, Brendan Warner. After suffering a career-changing back injury, Brendan introduced Alexis to Numotion, which became a pivotal moment in her career.

In 2022, Alexis made a significant career shift into the medical supplies division, taking over the position from a former employee who had set a high standard by making medical supply provisioning personal, blending clinical expertise with client-focused product selection. Alexis was inspired by this approach and sought to redefine what it means to be a medical supply sales rep—bringing in a strong clinical background to provide meaningful, individualized care. “Alexis has taken a top performing territory and taken it to an impressive level,” said Amber Foster, Vice President of Sales – Urology.

“I love what I do because I witness astounding human resilience every day,” Alexis shared. “Enabling independence through education, providing the best products, and offering honest communication is my passion, whether it’s in the wheelchair or urology space.”

One of the clients who has left a lasting impression on Alexis is Jeff, a determined individual who faces life’s challenges with humor and grit. Jeff affectionately refers to Alexis as the “Pee Stick Lady,” a nod to their work together tailoring his catheter supplies. When Jeff underwent ostomy surgery, his nurse reached out to Alexis for help. Together, they created a custom solution that fits Jeff’s active lifestyle, allowing him to manage his needs independently.

“Jeff’s resilience inspires me every day,” Alexis said. “He’s always ready to solve complex problems and embrace life with laughter. I aim to approach my work with the same energy.”

For Alexis, the best part of her job is being part of the solution for so many clients and clinicians. She takes pride in the fact that Numotion’s commitment to education has enabled her to offer expert support to those in need, helping clients like Jeff regain their dignity and independence through personalized care.
