Brentwood, Tenn. (June 5, 2018)Numotion, the nation’s leading provider of Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), has acquired the rehab division of Midwest Respiratory & Rehab, extending its reach and capacity in Nebraska and Iowa. Midwest has been in business for more than 10 years, serving thousands of customers across most of the Midwest.

“We are excited about expanding in Nebraska and Iowa,” said Mike Swinford, CEO, Numotion. “We are always looking for ways to better serve customers and provide them with innovative mobility solutions. Midwest’s reach coupled with our product and service offerings provides the disabled community with the best resources available in the market.”

Midwest’s rehab employees will be integrated into Numotion’s north central team. They will gain access to a larger product offering and support infrastructure that helps to increase efficiency in getting needed equipment and services to customers so they can actively participate in everyday life. Current Midwest rehab customers will not experience any changes in their service. The acquisition does not include Midwest’s non-CRT product lines.

Numotion is the nation’s premier mobility equipment and service provider for people with disabilities, specifically for those who need CRT. With locations in nearly every state, Numotion serves 250,000 customers annually with the technical and clinical expertise needed to assist in helping people with disabilities become active and independent members of their community.

“Midwest is excited about the acquisition of our rehab division by the nation’s largest CRT provider, who we are confident will continue to serve our customers well in Nebraska and Iowa,” said Mick Hall, Vice President, Midwest. We are pleased to continue to serve our vent and respiratory customers, as well as continuing our services with hospice and nursing home equipment rental throughout the Midwest.”
