Hi, there friends! It’s Numo.

I hope you have been following along with my adventures on Instagram, but if not, no worries! I’ll catch you up to speed. I am training to be a service dog with Summit Assistance Dog located outside of Seattle. I was named after Numotion a CRT company who gave me the scholarship to attend school! I am currently in heat intermediate training.

I want to introduce you to my new friend Jones! Jones is an active service dog that supports one of Numotion’s customers! Jones is a 4-year-old fully trained service dog from NEADS a non-profit program that provides trained service dogs to deaf and disabled people.

Jones shared with me about some of the things he does to help support his mom. He retrieves things for her like medicine, her phone or things from the fridge. He also turns out lights, opens doors and pushes elevator buttons. His mom tells me that he is very professional on the job and goofy when he’s off the job. Jones told me he knows over 60 commands! Wow, I hope to be that smart one day.

Jones and his mom like to be outdoors and take hikes and walks together. Jones told me in an average week he and his mom will take short recreational walks and hikes everyday and a long distance walk once a week! Jones and his mom were matched by NEADS based on their lifestyle and energy levels. Jones' mom is very active so she was matched with Jones who has a high energy level as well.

It was so cool to meet Jones and get to know him. I can’t wait to learn from him and my other friends. Jones has social media like me so give him a follow on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date with his adventures! Follow me on Instagram at Numo the Service Dog. I hope everyone follows along and gets to experience this journey with me. I feel really lucky to have this opportunity.

Until next time friends!
Woof!
