Tyler

Tyler’s Story

Tyler is thirty-six years old from Snohomish, Washington. Tyler is a C1 quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down from a diving accident in 2012. In the summer, Tyler enjoys skydiving, scuba diving, sunbathing and pretending he is Formula One race car driver as he tears through his property. In the winter he enjoys watching football, reading, and learning a new skill at least once per year.

Wes

Wes’s Story

In April 2020,  Wes was diagnosed with ALS and received a power wheelchair from Numotion. Since Wes is a huge Minnesota Wild Ice Hockey fan, Numotion decked his chair out in Minnesota Wild colors. Stephanie, Wes’ wife said that their Numotion team has been fabulous.

Xavier

Xavier’s Story

At eight months old, Xavier was diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Quadriplegic cerebral palsy refers to difficulty in controlling movements in the arms and the legs. Numotion has been a part of Xavier’s mobility journey for 10 plus years working with ATP, Lindsey.

Zander

Zander’s Story

At thirteen months old, Zander went from a walking, running and climbing baby to a paraplegic in a few short hours. Zander was diagnosed with Acute Flaccid Myelitis, a rare disease that affects the spinal cord, the part of the nervous system that carries messages to and from the brain. He was treated at Levine Children’s Hospital and spent three weeks there for inpatient rehab. Recovery from AFM is unknown. Zander continues to make slow but steady progress.

Tamara

Tamara’s Story

Donovan

Donovan’s Story

Donovan is an adventurous two-year-old who loves playing with his six siblings and being outside. He was diagnosed with Spina Bifida myelomeningocele, the most severe form of Spina Bifida, at 20 weeks while still in Utero.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth’s Story

Elizabeth and her family have been supported by Numotion, who introduced the family to complex rehab technology like custom seating for her wheelchair, activity chair and a device that allows Elizabeth to keep her head in place. Numotion Assistive Technology Professional, Lindsey, has been instrumental in discovering new solutions to some of Elizabeth’s needs.

Elliot

Elliot’s Story

Elliot is a happy three-year-old who loves swinging and being outside. At seven months, Elliot started having seizures and was diagnosed with infantile spasms which caused severe developmental delays. Several months later Elliot was given the official diagnosis of cerebral palsy.

AJ

AJ’s Story

AJ is a spunky, silly, and energetic two-year-old from Eau Claire, WI. AJ loves Elmo, music, and fire trucks. At 13 months, he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, but it never slowed AJ down.

Greg

Greg’s Story

A freak accident on the ski slopes of Colorado last year left Greg paralyzed from the waist down. Despite his injury, Greg's determination to stay active never wavered and he has found new ways to do just that.

Hattie

Hattie’s Story

Hattie loves music and her dogs. She is two years old and has overcome obstacles already. Hattie received a stander and activity chair from Numotion.

Hayden

Hayden’s Story

Hayden is a sweet five-year-old who is smart and very caring to others. She is currently in kindergarten and loves to play t-ball and spend time with her family, especially at the beach or pool. According to her mom, Hanna, “Hayden has a few things that make her extra special – one is Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome (BWS).”
