Tessa

Tessa’s Story

Tessa is a twin who loves baby dolls, animals and music. She and her brother were born at 24 weeks and had a long stay in the NICU. Tessa had three brain surgeries because of a brain bleed which resulted in her official diagnosis of cerebral palsy around eighteen months old.

Todd

Todd’s Story

Todd has been a Numotion customer for 15 years. In the last couple of years he has worked closely with Numotion Service Coordinator, “Mrs. Tina” for any necessary repairs to his manual chair.  Last month Todd received his first power wheelchair from Numotion.

Travis

Travis’s Story

Travis has been the Presiding Commissioner of Bollinger County, Missouri since 2010. After an auto accident left him a quadriplegic his sophomore year of high school, Travis spent 10 months in the hospital.

Jordan

Jordan’s Story

Jordan is a 19 year-old with cerebral palsy who is about to start his freshman year at Texas State University, majoring in computer science.

Kania

Kania’s Story

Kania has been a fighter since birth. Born with a hole in her stomach, she underwent surgery at two months old to fix the abnormality. Unfortunately, as a result of multiple breathing tubes and going into cardiac arrest, Kania sustained a brain injury. At a year old she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Eldon

Eldon’s Story

Eldon just celebrated his 14th birthday and refuses to let his health stop him from being a very happy and caring kid.

Arya

Arya’s Story

Arya is a recent high school graduate headed to Yale University in the fall. She is half Chinese, half Indian, born in Hong Kong, but mostly grew up in New York City. She also has spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), which causes pervasive physical weakness. Because of SMA, Arya has been in a powerchair since age five.

Geoff

Geoff’s Story

Geoff is the happiest when he is outside surrounded by nature. He grew up in the mountains of Washington State and spent a good portion of his life working in those same mountains.

Emery

Emery’s Story

Emery was born with Schizencephally, Septo Optic Dyslasian and Epilepsy. At birth, she was missing about 40% of her brain and at just a year old had a hemispherectomy to prevent seizures.

Londyn loves music, dancing, being read to, putting blocks together, chasing her brother and sister around the house and playing in the water.

Pastor Bill is a well-respected Lutheran (ELCA) pastor who served three congregations over a 33-year career before he had to go on disability following the progression of ALS.
