Numotion is no longer accepting new sales orders for scooters/POVs (power operated vehicles.)  Numotion has made this decision to better align our product offering with our core focus on serving the needs of our Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) customers who will most benefit from our skills and expertise serving more complex needs with more sophisticated technology. This policy applies nationally to all payers, referral sources and customers. Scooters are basic power equipment that is operated through a tiller handle and typically configured with 3 or 4 wheels and a captain seat. These devices do not need rehab seating or specialty controls and can be successfully provided by basic DME companies, including Numotion’s retail division SpinLife (www.spinlife.com).  Note that SpinLife does not accept Medicare/Medicaid or any commercial insurance. SpinLife is cash pay only. Customers seeking reimbursement on scooters should contact their local DME provider or our national DME partner, Lincare (866-387-2668) who can best meet their needs.

All existing customers who received a scooter through Numotion will be eligible for repairs up until the 5-year reasonable useful lifetime of the equipment at which point the customer should contact SpinLife or a local DME provider to pursue new equipment.  Customers under the 5-year window who are seeking service/repair on their scooter, will be required to bring the scooter/POV to a Numotion branch location for service. Contact your location branch to schedule an appointment. (www.numotion.com/locations)
