Jim’s Story
Numotion Medical Supply Customer Since 2026
Jim recently retired after a career in civil engineering that included more than 23 years as Knox County Engineer and another 10 years in the private engineering sector. Originally from the Dayton, Ohio area, Jim now lives with his wife, Jamie.
Following a recent heart attack, Jim was diagnosed with a rare blood disease that requires the use of catheters until his upcoming surgery. As Jim’s wife and “go-to” for his medical needs, prescriptions, and supplies, Jamie took on the responsibility of navigating the ordering process during a time that was completely new for both of them.
The family became Numotion Medical Supply customers in April 2026, and Jamie credits Numotion Medical Supply Account Manager, Kora, with making the experience a positive one.
“This company is amazing,” Jamie shared. “Kora came to my rescue when I was having difficult ordering the catheters required for Jim.”
Jamie explained that although Jim’s urologist was extremely helpful, there were limits to what the office could do. Once she connected with Kora, she found the guidance she needed.
“She listened to me, took an interest in what was required, and immediately placed the proper order and the first order was delivered promptly,” Jamie said. “She did not become angry or upset with me when I asked questions, all new to me, and she always answered my phone calls and/or emails immediately.”
That same level of support continued beyond the first shipment.
“Kora was the kindest person to deal with in this very difficult situation. She took the time to listen and answer my questions. She took the time to make sure the product was ordered / delivered. She took the time to follow up with me to make sure everything was acceptable.”

When it came time for a second order, Jamie said Kora “went above and beyond to make sure this was also placed correctly and they would be delivered on time.”
Having a reliable process has helped simplify one part of Jim’s care. “I do not have to worry about the supply amount as I know the re-order will be made promptly,” Jamie said.
Looking back on their experience, Jamie expressed her appreciation for the care and attention they received. “I wish every company I have had to deal with had someone like her to work with. She takes an interest in her patients,” Jamie stated.
Throughout his engineering career, Jim helped create structures that would serve people for years to come. One of those projects was helping save a historic bridge in Knox County, which was restored into a walking path that is pictured here. As Jim prepares for surgery and the road ahead, he and Jamie know they have a dependable team beside them, providing the same steady support that allows them to move forward with confidence.
