Numotion / Vivien’s Story

Independence Through Mobility

Vivien’s Story

Diagnosis: Cerebral Palsy | Numotion Customer Since 2024

Vivien is 11 years old and was born in Bogotá, Colombia. She lives with cerebral palsy and autism and enjoys music, swimming, and riding her adaptive bike. Since becoming a Numotion customer in January 2024, her family has experienced strong partnership and support throughout her mobility journey.

They worked closely with Numotion team members Kinsey and Keaton, who provided clear communication, flexibility, and the convenience of in-home visits that helped make the process easier for the family.

As her family shared, “We like Kinsey and Keaton very much. They communicate very well and always accommodate our schedule. It has been ideal to have them travel to us. We love Numotion! My main contact is Tom, and he is incredible in every way you can imagine. Kind, compassionate, and caring. You feel like you are chatting with an old friend when you speak with him, and he truly made the entire process feel easy and comfortable during a very overwhelming time.”

Vivien now uses a wheelchair, stroller, and adaptive bike, which have significantly increased her independence at school, in therapy, and during family outings.“The equipment… has enriched our life in every way. She can have independence at school, on outings, or at therapy. She can now be with others or with family.”

– Emily, Vivien’s Mom

They also emphasized the strength of their experience overall, saying, “They are the BEST! And we tell everyone we can about how wonderful they are.”

Vivien’s story reflects how personalized support and thoughtful coordination can help create greater independence and participation in everyday life.
