Diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) as a baby, Arcy has faced extensive mobility and communication challenges her entire life. She is non-verbal but bilingual. Her Numotion ATP installed a communication device on her Permobil F3 so she can interact more personally and independently with family, friends and professors — in both English and Spanish. Arcy’s Permobil F3 is a power wheelchair with seat elevation and tilt function, allowing her to easily — and comfortably — navigate through life.

The F3 is also customized for her mobility needs. She only has control of her left hand and left foot, so that is how she operates the chair. Arcy’s chair was delivered in time for her high school graduation, and she will now be using it to navigate the New Mexico State University campus.

“She is so excited about starting university classes, a little nervous too. With all of her assistive technology, she’s got a fighting chance to venture out on her own.”
