Brentwood, Tenn. (June 22, 2023) - Numotion, the nation’s leading and largest provider of products and services that provide mobility, health and personal independence is pleased to announce an array of updated clinical education events, workshops, and courses - both in-person and virtual. These events help further clinician and ATP education on adult and pediatric mobility, medical supplies, healthcare, insurance and seating and positioning.

“We designed clinical education opportunities that balance the value of offering in-person, hands-on interactive learning and offer a virtual learning experience for those that need it,” said Danielle Mains, Numotion Director of Clinical Education.  “Our courses and programs are designed specifically for PTs, OTs, and ATPs and are relevant to current events in Complex Rehab Technologies (CRT).  Our commitment to fostering excellence in CRT education has led us to develop these unique and robust educational programs.”

“Numotion Clinical Education is an approved provider for IACET and AOTA, and subcontracts with Redefine Health Education to provide CEUs,” said Britta Schwartzhoff, Numotion Clinical Educator. “That means, therapists will have their education count towards their licensure/certification renewals without additional steps required.  Currently, there are 37 states that recognize AOTA approved providers for continuing education requirements.  Redefine Health Education (physical therapy education) courses are accepted for CEU credits in 40+ states.  When we bring education to a particular state, we want to make the process as simple as possible for the local therapists to obtain the CEU’s needed for their licenses/certifications.”

“An individual’s wheelchair can help or hinder their ability to be independent with their bladder management regimen, said Leah Holderbaum, Numotion Clinical Educator.  Enhancing clinicians’ understanding of a wide array of topics including bladder management strategies and the correlation to wheelchair configuration will equip them to promote greater independence and their patients’ quality of life.”
