Todd is a highly motivated problem solver with a passion for helping people. As an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) at Numotion, he helps people with movement disabilities regain control of their lives — physically and mentally.

Todd first entered the Complex Rehab Technology industry because of his support of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). He has volunteered as an MDA Camp Counselor every year since 1990, joining their mission to find a cure for muscular dystrophy.

His passion was motivating kids and adults with disabilities to persevere. Today, that’s his job. Through his volunteer work with MDA, Todd found Numotion in 2013 and joined our team as an ATP.

When Kierra, a young girl with muscular dystrophy, and her parents were connected with Numotion, Todd worked with them to find a chair that fit her body, lifestyle and even personality. He knows it’s not just about building the right chair. It’s about building the right relationship with patients and families to help them understand the process.

“It’s not the simple act of choosing a wheelchair, loading it in your car and delivering it to somebody. It’s developing a relationship and analyzing the family — their lifestyle in their home setting, at school, work, college or where they’re going to go next in life.”  -Todd

Finding a mobility solution is a major challenge in one’s life, making it difficult for many to embrace the change. Todd helps his patients gain a new perspective on what a wheelchair can, and should be, used for — based on each person’s lifestyles and needs.

He enjoys finding a solution that fits into that person’s lifestyle because he believes every patient is different. He also knows mobility impairment can take both a physical and mental toll on the individual, presenting an even greater opportunity for him to make an impact.

“You have to be involved in what they do to be able to provide the level of service that they need, to help them persevere through all the obstacles they’re going to run into throughout their life.”  -Todd

Todd has been working with people with disabilities for nearly 30 years. His passion for helping them get back in motion continues to grow, along with his knowledge, skills and resources. We are proud to work with such a dedicated ATP, problem solver and friend.
