Four adults smiling for a group selfie indoors; capturing Michele's Story, one has blue hair and glasses, another wears a white shirt and has gray hair. A man with a beard sports a blue cap while a woman with glasses stands on the right by the orange wall.

Michele’s Story

Michele’s career in complex rehab began with a defining moment. While finishing her Mechanical Engineering degree at Michigan State University, her cousin was paralyzed in an accident. The experience had a profound impact on her and her family, shifting her focus away from an internship with Ford Motor Company and toward a career dedicated to helping people with disabilities live more independent lives.

Shaunae’s Story

Shaunae’s path into complex rehab was shaped by family, hands-on problem solving, and early work serving rural communities. After returning to Numotion in 2015, she progressed into an Assistive Technology Professional role, helping build services across multiple regions. Today, she’s driven by creating personalized solutions and meaningful moments that support independence for the families she serves.

A man kneels and talks to a woman in a motorized wheelchair holding a blue bag. Another woman in a wheelchair and several people walk by, bringing Joey's Story to life in an outdoor public space on a sunny day.

Joey’s Story

Joey began his career in mobility in 2014 when he joined a company that later became part of Numotion in 2018. Before entering the field, he worked as an athletic trainer and was simply searching for a full-time job. As he learned the work, he quickly realized it aligned with what he valued most. “I honestly just needed a full-time job, but as I started on the job, it just fit my personality and desire to serve others in my vocation.”

Zachary’s Story

For Numotion Warehouse Technician Zachary, every day is an opportunity to make a difference: one repair, one fitting, one smile at a time.

Ryan’s Story

Ryan began his career at Numotion in March 2008. Before joining, he spent several years as an auto mechanic. Ready for a change, he took a job with a home healthcare company in their rehab department. However, when that department began to divide, Ryan looked for other opportunities but knew he wanted to stay in rehab. That’s when he found Numotion.

Robby’s Story

Robby joined Numotion in June 2024 and quickly found himself immersed in a culture of purpose, support, and connection. “I’ve met some incredible people who’ve made me feel supported and welcomed from day one,” he said. But Robby’s journey with Numotion began long before his first day on the job.

To comply with applicable laws ensuring equal employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, Numotion will make reasonable accommodations for the known physical or mental limitations of an otherwise qualified individual with a disability who is an applicant or an employee, unless undue hardship and/or a direct threat to the health and/or safety of the individual or others would result. An applicant or employee who requires an accommodation in order to perform the essential functions of his or her job, enjoy an equal employment opportunity, and/or obtain equal job benefits should contact the Talent Acquisition team to request such an accommodation.  Talent Acquisition will work with the Human Resources Leave Coordinator to initiate and engage the applicant or employee in an interactive process to determine the nature of the issue and what, if any, reasonable accommodation(s) may be appropriate.

If an identified accommodation is reasonable and will not impose an undue hardship on the Company and/or a direct threat to the health and/or safety of the individual or others, Numotion will generally make the accommodation, or it may propose another reasonable accommodation which may also be effective.  Employees and applicants are required to cooperate with this process by providing all necessary documentation supporting the need for accommodation, and being willing to consider alternative accommodations when applicable.
