Overview

How many times have you been frustrated by trying to document for a client’s UltraLight Manual Wheelchair evaluation? Dozens? After countless attempts, you’re convinced that Medicare just doesn’t pay for this type of manual wheelchair anymore, right? Wrong! They do — it’s all in your objective justification and functional assessment, as well as making sure that you have left no stone unturned with ruling out least costly alternative.

Sound complicated? It’s not.

You just have to understand the rules and the equipment! This course will explain Medicare’s funding and documentation requirements as well as their manual wheelchair algorithm in a simple and understandable manner. This course will also provide you with product information to make objectively ruling out lesser equipment and ordering the least costly alternative a breeze!
