Dylan joined Numotion in August 2022 as a medical supplies’ sales representative. However, his initial exposure to Numotion occurred in December 2019, under unexpected circumstances. Suffering a Spinal Cord Injury around that time, Dylan found himself in need of assistance. He said Numotion stepped in swiftly, providing him with a loaner wheelchair and, by March 2020, a customized one tailored perfectly to his needs.

Dylan said there are many reasons why he wanted to become a medical supplies’ sales representative, but the number one reason was the desire to positively impact people's lives, particularly by improving their quality of life through personalized care and support.

“I realized quickly that being a med supplies’ sales rep is more than just a job, it’s a passion. I’m passionate about helping our customers in every way I can to make sure that they too can live life to the fullest! This position helps me to do just that.”

For Dylan, Numotion wasn't just another stop on his career path; having navigated life with a spinal cord injury, he felt a deep connection to Numotion's mission.

In his role, Dylan has thrived on building meaningful relationships with customers and assisting them in navigating their unique medical needs. His favorite projects involve introducing existing Complex Rehab Technology (CRT) customers to the urology division, offering them solutions that not only enhanced their daily routines but also their overall quality of life.

Beyond the projects and products, it was the personal connections that truly resonated with Dylan. Meeting and conversing with patients who exuded resilience and determination became the highlight of his day.

“This job has taught me that a positive attitude can make all the difference and there is no obstacle too big. Knowing that I can help in any way possible gives me joy and motivation to give my best every day I come to work.”

One customer, Jonathan, left a lasting impression on Dylan. Jonathan had been using a straight tip catheter, facing challenges with frequent UTIs and inconvenience, particularly in public settings. Recognizing his need for a better solution, Dylan introduced him to a closed system catheter. With this change, Jonathan gained newfound independence, enabling him to travel, enjoy dates, and spend quality time with his daughter without the burden of discomfort or inconvenience.
