Brentwood, Tenn. (Nov. 20, 2018) – Numotion, the nation’s leading provider of Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), has expanded its footprint in Tennessee with the acquisition of Carr Rehab, Inc. Carr Rehab has been serving customers in East Tennessee for more than 27 years, with locations in Knoxville and Johnson City.

“Numotion is committed to improving the lives of people with disabilities,” said Mike Swinford, CEO, Numotion. “This investment allows us to expand our reach in East Tennessee to provide greater access to innovative mobility resources, products, services and solutions.”

Twenty-five Carr Rehab employees have transitioned to the Numotion team including Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs), customer care, service and repair, payer relations, medical documentation and order processing teams.

“The Carr Rehab team has a solid reputation for providing quality equipment, along with a real passion for their customers,” said Swinford. “We are very excited to add this experienced and passionate group of professionals to the Numotion team.”

This is the latest acquisition in Numotion’s expansion efforts. Earlier this year, Numotion acquired the Rehab divisions of both Midwest Respiratory & Rehab and Total Respiratory & Rehab in Nebraska and Iowa, along with the CRT division of Medsource Mobility in Utah, Arizona, Nevada and Idaho.
