It's been a wild September finishing up the summer with the Ryan Martin Foundation (RMF), and I get ready to head to Paris in October to start the European season.
It's been a whirlwind of speaking gigs, one day camps, practices, and media obligations since my last blog and wrapping up the camp season. I've been working the last few months with John Holt, an acclaimed CT sportscaster (@johnholtwfsb) on a documentary about my life, basketball, and the Ryan Martin Foundation. Here is a recent interview I did with the folks at Better Connecticut (@betterconnecticut) to tell my story & talk about the documentary!

Also, we have launched a junior wheelchair basketball team for the first time in the state of Connecticut. The team is sponsored by RMF and the Hospital for Special Care. It is a project near and dear to my heart, and long overdue. We are looking forward to having this program grow and flourish under the direction of former Southwest Minnesota State University head wheelchair basketball coach and collaborator to RMF, Paul Weiland. We will also have a fundraiser on September 26th with our new RMF sponsor, Anytime Fitness, to support this new endeavor.
Here is a teaser of some of the documentary footage we have shot.

Thanks as always for the support! Next blog will be coming in October, and I will have returned to Europe. I'll also be sharing another link to the documentary coming up!
