Bon jour! I'm writing my first blog from Lake Geneva on the French side of the lake, overlooking neighboring Switzerland. In all my travels over the past several years this view is one of the most breathtaking ones, that rivals Lake Como in Italy, and almost every other I've seen. If it's not already, do yourself a favor and put Lake Geneva on your bucket list of places to see! 

I'm excited to be blogging for Numotion and sharing my thoughts, foundation work, and my experiences as a pro basketball player. My start in basketball began back home in the states for the Connecticut Spokebenders. I have been a professional wheelchair basketball player for the past eight years, including several years playing in Madrid, Spain. This year marks my first season in France and have grown to appreciate the beauty of this country ranging from the gorgeous beaches of the South, to the more Mountainous region in the north.

I'm looking forward to sharing with you the work of the Ryan Martin Foundation and the programs we offer athletes with disabilities. We have been providing basketball camps for the past several year for athletes with disabilities in the United States and in Spain.

I'm in the middle of intense training with my team as we are gearing up for the French league playoffs and European Championships. I will keep you updated on our progress as well as all our 2015 RMF programs!

Now off to meet for our pregame/film session and get ready for what will be an exciting game!
