Jack is a happy, social, and always smiling four-year-old from Portland, Oregon. Jack loves race cars and sports and especially enjoys music including the Foo Fighters and Justin Bieber. Jack was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when he was three days old, but it has never slowed him down.
Numotion has been a part of Jack’s mobility journey for the past two years. “We have always been taken care of beyond what was expected,” said Angela, Jack’s mom. “We are always kept in the know of how the process is going and have enjoyed working with Numotion.”
Jack’s mom said that they have had the best experience working with their Assistive Technology Professional, Rick. “Rick is always so caring and makes sure we are taken care of. If something isn’t fitting, he comes and makes sure it’s right.”
Jack received his first wheelchair several months ago. With his wheelchair, he and his family have been able to experience new things together. “Since getting Jack’s wheelchair we have been able to take him to so many more places and for longer periods of time. He has a better connection to his peers and environment,” said Angela.
Jack’s family took him to the Oregon Museum of Industry and Science and everyone had the best time. When they took him to the gift shop, Jack got very excited when he saw a NASA outfit, so his mom got him the outfit to wear for Halloween. Target has a new line of adaptive Halloween costumes and when Jack’s mom saw they had a rocket to put on his chair she knew she had to get it.
