Meet Torrey. Three-year-old Torrey is a bright light wherever she goes, radiating joy and positivity that touches everyone around her. Born with spina bifida (myelomeningocele), Torrey has no feeling from the knee down and has two club feet, but that doesn’t stop her from living life to the fullest. In April 2024, Torrey received her new wheelchair from Numotion, delivered right to her home by Numotion ATP, TD.

“Working with the Numotion team has been incredible,” said Libby, Torrey’s mom. “The moment we met TD, we knew we were in good hands. He is passionate about what he does and genuinely cares. Torrey is always excited when she gets a chance to see TD! She has received her stander, gait trainer, and now her wheelchair from Numotion. We couldn’t be more satisfied with their responsiveness and attention to detail for our daughter’s needs.”

Torrey and her family were so excited when they received her wheelchair saying, “It’s been a tremendous way for her to have her own independence. Torrey loves to go fast—she’s an adrenaline junkie!” Whether she’s zooming around the store on trips to Costco or racing her brother on the backyard basketball court, Torrey’s wheelchair has given her the freedom to explore the world at her own pace.

Dinosaurs are Torrey’s current obsession, and her stuffed animal Thumper is never far from her side. She also has an incredible memory, often memorizing stories and songs, and loves to sing, read books, draw, and play with her older brother, Titus. Torrey’s favorite foods? Steak and tomatoes! Her family describes her as a person who is “so positive and fun to be around,” always full of energy and enthusiasm.

Torrey’s wheelchair has become more than just a tool—it’s a symbol of her independence, allowing her to fully embrace her adventurous spirit. Whether she’s speeding through the aisles or cruising around her backyard, Torrey is making the most of her newfound mobility with Numotion by her side.
