USA Pickleball is proud to announce a new partnership with Numotion, further strengthening the organization’s commitment to growing adaptive and wheelchair pickleball opportunities across the country.
As part of the partnership, Numotion has been named the Title Partner of the USA Pickleball Wheelchair National Championships, reinforcing a shared mission to increase access, visibility, and support for wheelchair athletes competing at the highest levels of the sport.
In addition, Numotion will serve as the Official Mobility Partner of USA Pickleball and the Presenting Partner of all wheelchair divisions at the 2026 Oceanview USA Pickleball National Championships, set to take place in San Diego at Barnes Tennis Center from October 31 to November 8.
“Wheelchair pickleball represents some of the most inspiring and competitive play in pickleball today,” said Christian Portaro, Vice President of Partnerships at USA Pickleball. “We are excited to welcome Numotion as a partner that shares our vision for accessibility, inclusion, and continued investment in the growth of adaptive pickleball. Their support will help us continue elevating opportunities for wheelchair athletes on the national stage.”
The partnership marks an important step forward in the continued growth of wheelchair pickleball, one of the fastest-rising adaptive disciplines within the sport. Through this collaboration, USA Pickleball and Numotion aim to elevate the athlete experience, increase awareness of adaptive play opportunities, and help create a more inclusive future for pickleball communities nationwide.
“Adaptive sports like wheelchair pickleball are about far more than competition, they are a powerful pathway to greater accessibility, independence, and participation in everyday life,” said Mike Swinford, CEO of Numotion. “Partnerships like this allow us to continue advancing access across adaptive sports while breaking down barriers beyond sport and into everyday living.”
The inaugural USA Pickleball Wheelchair National Championships will take place June 19–21, 2026, at Peak Pickleball in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The three-day event will bring together wheelchair pickleball athletes from across the country and around the world for elite wheelchair-exclusive competition, community celebration, and a historic national championship experience designed for athletes of all skill levels.
As the National Governing Body for the sport in the United States, USA Pickleball remains committed to ensuring the sport is accessible and welcoming to athletes of all abilities through dedicated programming, national competition opportunities, education, and community initiatives.
