ATP, Andrew always knew in the back of his mind he wanted to help people for a living. He stared working at Numotion during the summer while he was still in college and became a full-time technician after graduation. His technical expertise and strong desire to help customers quickly led to a role out in the field as an ATP.

“I love helping people and making a visible difference,” said Andrew. “My job as an ATP allows me to be creative and come up with outside of the box solutions to help address customer’s specific needs.”

While Andrew goes the extra mile for all of his customers to make sure they are properly fitted for their equipment and able to be as independent as possible, one 10 year-old in particular, Steven, has made a lasting impression on him.

“Steven is a 10 year old boy living with Duchenne MD. He is a social butterfly, the life of the party and won’t let anybody tell him what he can’t do,” explains Andrew. “I have gotten to know his family really well over the years and every time I see Steven he gives me a big hug.”

Andrew was able to get Steven into a chair that not only fits his physical needs but matches his personality too. “Steven lives by the beach so we added larger wheels that can get through sand. He can pop wheelies and has light-up casters too.”

Andrew is grateful that he has the opportunity to help kids like Steven and make such a positive impact on their lives. “It’s all about the kids. I want to make sure Steven and all of my other customers are equipped to live their best lives.”
