Robert’s journey has taken him across the West, shaping both where he lives and how he approaches life. Originally from Denver, he spent much of his youth living on a ranch from around age 10 through his early twenties. Just before turning 22, Robert became paralyzed, a life-changing moment that led him to live at home for several years before moving around and eventually settling in Laramie, Wyoming, where he lives today.

Robert values a life built around creativity, calm, and independence. He enjoys creative hobbies such as laser engraving ceramic tiles and painting them, along with playing guitar. Music is a meaningful outlet for him, and he finds joy in exploring different sounds, chords, and rhythms. He describes his lifestyle as rooted in solitude rather than isolation, explaining that he does not need a crowd to feel fulfilled. His interests reflect a balance of personal creativity and quiet connection.

Robert has been a Numotion customer since 2012 and transitioned to using Numotion Medical Supplies in 2025. Since becoming a Medical Supplies customer, consistency has brought peace of mind. He shared that even when small hiccups arise, “things have always been straightened out,” and he feels confident knowing he will receive a call to explain what is happening. That reliability, he said, puts his mind at ease and helps him feel safe and supported.

Obtaining medical supplies has been a straightforward experience thus far. Robert described the process as “pretty decent,” noting that communication is quick and streamlined.

When delays come up, he reaches out to his Medical Supplies Account Manager, Alexis, who helps keep things moving and answers questions along the way. That clear line of communication has made managing supplies simpler and less stressful.

Robert shared that his supplies enhance his independence, while acknowledging the frustrations that can often come with insurance. Even so, having dependable access to what he needs allows him to focus on living his life, pursuing his interests, and maintaining a sense of stability.

Kylie’s Story

Kylie is a sixth-generation resident of Laramie County, Wyoming, where she lives on her family’s ranch near Burns. Her connection to the land runs deep, and so does her determination to live independently. Kylie was baby A of a set of quintuplets, born at just 28 weeks gestation. When it was time to leave the NICU three months later, only Kylie and her twin sister came home.

Myles’ Story

Four-year-old Myles of Huntersville, North Carolina brings joy and determination to everything he does. Living with SLC35B2 deficiency with hypomylenating leukodystrophy, an ultra-rare genetic diagnosis shared by only one other child in the United States, Myles approaches each day with curiosity, strength, and a love for play. He especially enjoys being outside, working hard in all his therapies, spending time with his sisters, and anything involving balloons.

David’s Story

For David of Meridian, Idaho, technology and connection play an important role in his everyday life. Living with cerebral palsy, he has worked with Numotion since 2011 to ensure he has the equipment that keeps him mobile, independent, and active in his community.
